An angler’s twist on a flat brim fedora. A collapsed crown pinch with a dipped front brim give this hat the character of sunbaked days well spent on the river.
The Big Blackfoot River is a fly fishing paradise just outside of Missoula, Montana. The river was featured in the 1976 novel A River Runs Through It by Norman Maclean. This hat is a replica of Paul’s hat from the film.
“Then in the Arctic half-light of the canyon, all existence fades to a being with my soul and memories and the sounds of the Big Blackfoot River and a four-count rhythm and the hope that a fish will rise. Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it.” ― Norman Maclean, A River Runs through It
